My eyes widened at Jane's words.
"Ella?" My tone turned stiff. I did not know how to react anymore. If it was really Ella as per what Jane said then maybe, just maybe things would be easy.
But I don't know why my mind was not ready to accept the answer. I felt like 'Ella? Really?'
The feeling of being close to things yet too far was creeping into my mind. No matter how much I thought I could not deny it. Why were things turning out like this?
I looked at Jane who shook her head in annoyance. "I know what you are thinking, Rose. But not everything is as good as it seems." Jane looked at Seth and Andrew as she said in annoyance, "Maybe you should check which university Ella went to, especially the year."
Seth nodded his head as he got to work along with Ken.
Aunt Kara got up as she walked toward Uncle Cody and said with a smile. "We should go to Eric. He needs our support too. And we might not be of any help to them."
