Dreads splayed around me, black hair entwined with emerald grass, I gazed up at the sky, milky clouds lazily floating by, I lied down In the field contemplating my life.
"Hey, pup, can you, you know, get off me?!"
The little Cerberus pup -which wasn't all that small actually- just continued to sit on my chest the three heads all silly looking, their tongues flopping out and drooling onto my clothes.
Sighing I just turned my head to my left were the little mystic beasts sat grooming themselves, the Kirin nibbling at a spot on its back leg while the Qilin was licking it's front paw, the tiger striped paw rising up to swipe over it's whiskered face, i just shook my head before grabbing the Cerberus pup and plopping it off to the side, throwing my upper body up I flipped myself up, hands flying out to the side of me as I stuck the landing.
With A laugh I began patting my thighs and back to get rid of any dust on my body, stooping down I grabbed my backpack and swung it onto my back.
"Aight babes it's about time to get a move on, spending a night in this field was dangerous enough" I called out happily, the little beasts looked at me confused, I raised a eyebrow and stepped forward, the little Cerberus right on my heels, the mystic beasts looked at each other before following calmly, all cocky like.
Rolling my eyes I fixed my dreads and continued towards the mountain village, a couple miles off from there should be The Dreaming forest, the home of Elves, Faeries, and Centaurs, blessed but overall cocky people, unfortunately they had what I needed to get stronger.
The elves had their birth tree and from that tree came a golden sap that I needed cleanse my body while the faeries had the rainbow lotus and spring water which I needed to cleanse and optimize my magic core and lastly the centaurs, the strong half beast people, I wished for them to train me, I'd have chosen their more wild brethren the beast men but they seem more likely to accidentally poison me, as although much stronger they are even more animalistic then their half are even completely human companions, eating raw herbs and drinking blood to get their needed nutrition.
Walking forward towards my uncertain future, I smiled wide, sharp canine teeth poking my bottom lip, I looked back at mountain, the tower tall and spiraling into the clouds.
"Hold on now mama! I'm coming back soon okay? All I'll need is a year, wait no, two years! And I'll take you and Rory away from here! Kay mama!" I whispered under my breath, my voice low and full of determination.
"Alright now, it's time to get a move on! Sorry for delay babies~" I said looking down at the little beasts my hand flying up to the back of my neck.
The Cerberus pup was to busy running between my legs while the two little mystic beasts stared back at me all smug like, I just rolled my eyes and looked forward watching where I walked so I wouldn't step on the silly pup.

As Moon and his little group of beasts walked out of the small field and towards the large forest that encompassed the mountain they field to notice the six pairs of eyes, three pairs full of hunger and malice and the other three full of caution and worry along with hints of amusement.
Walking along the group soon makes it to the forest boundary when one of the creatures of unknown origin leaps out.
"Holy shit!" With a yelp I ducked and rolled to the side the puppy getting knocked to the side, freezing the monster the size of a large dog ran at me again slamming me to the ground, my breath leaving me with a gasp, and with pure instinct I used my ability, my hand flying out and slapping the monster in the face, pure vitality entering the monsters body, and without a second wasted the monster dug it's claws into my stomach, but even then that didn't help, lumps formed on its body, some leaking fluid and others growing to the size of a watermelon in seconds.
The monster tips over weak, and as I lay there utterly confused to what just happened I could here the monster wheeze beside me, my hand clutching the gaping wound on my stomach, and through the fuzz in my ears I could barely hear the beasts crying and whimpering, and then with a whoosh there was fire, and reacting on instinct again I rolled to my left and with one hand I pushed myself up looking at the monster that was set ablaze, purple hell fire sparked along fur and cancerous lumps.
"I… Am so confused" my voice sounded shaky and breathy, as if a was wheezing, "Oh, I am, wheezing" my eyes felt as if they were bulging out of my head, my free hand flying up to clutch at my chest, with that I feel back to ground face first but that unfortunately didn't stop whatever the hell was happening to me.
My vision swam and blurred together I could feel the breath leaving me in short but sharp gasps "M-mama? Help. Me. P-please" (I'm scared, I'm scared, I'm scared I'm scared I'm scared I'mscaredI'mscared I'mscaredI'mscaredscaredscaredscared)
As the noise around me grew faint and far, I felt fur on my face then something was licking me, no, licking my tears.

I don't know how long I laid in the forest boundary for but it was late enough for the sun to be in the middle of the sky, I had long since healed my wound unconsciously, the puppy laid face to face with me, the mystic beasts laid against my back.
I didn't move, I just stared, (what, was that) I had felt hysterical and all at the same time as if a wasn't even there. Slowly I pushed my self up, I felt weak and overdrawn, as if my limbs were made of lead and my body empty of life, my blood feeling cold and my skin wet and tacky.
I looked over at the pile of ash less then a meter away from me, my first real life fight and I passed out without even knowing if the monster was dead.
Pathetic.
