I opened my eyes and stared at the ceiling for a moment.
What had happened..? My head throbbed as I see Roda, the servant who dragged me in my past lifetime. I was searching for Alodia but she was nowhere to be found.
"Oh milady, you're awake" She purposely tried to sound unhappy, I rolled my eyes at her rudeness.
"Where is Alodia?" I asked.
"Hm, Alodia she was enjoying her time in the torment grounds" Now she sound happy while caressing her cheek.
"What..?" My eyes widened while Roda was smiling, she was always jealous of Alodia so now she's happy having Alodia tormented to death.
"Let me explain it the way you can understand milady, Alodia was being tormented right now with the head butler's son because of the trouble you caused"
"What trouble?" I asked. Why are they doing it to Alodia? And with the butler's son? I can't understand.
"Oh right you passed out, it's Alodia's fault to let you wander outside so you got knocked out after the head butler's son accidentally jumped on you from the tree" She carelessly explained. I was speechless.
"Take me to the torment grounds" I silently ordered. It's not Alodia's fault. I need to save her.
"But milady, lord duke ordered me to let you rest, please don't be naughty" She not listening to me, it's because I was just a five-year-old kid. I'm still a noble child, she needs to follow my orders!
"Do you want to be tortured to death...?" I threatened her, my eyes were filled with lividness as I look at her straight to the eye.

Do you want me to state all that you did?!" My anger exploded, I was letting her insult me like this since she was Alodia's sister. If she was tortured because of it, Alodia will be worried.
"M-milady..I...I committed a mortal sin...please spare my life!" She was scared after hearing words from a five-year-old kid.
"So move, I ordered you" My cute cold voice seems to echo inside her head. She politely opened the door and lead the way to the southern part of our estate, I never knew that torment grounds were in this place. As we reached the place, It was dark and scary. I run faster after hearing Alodia's scream getting closer. I was stunned after seeing her, it was terrible...
"Alodia...." She was crying, and her feet were bloody from getting smite all the time.
"Mi...lady..? Alodia muttered.
"Stop!" The man stopped hitting Alodia and looked at me surprised. I couldn't control my emotions, I feel angry and guilty at the same time, it was my fault for Alodia being tortured...
"Why do the young lady is here, this is not a child's playground" As expected, they don't respect me. At first, it was fine, I don't mind it but it pushes me to the edge sometimes.
"Let Alodia go" I ordered the man and he rudely smirk at me. I tightened my fist, I was annoyed, no I'm angry.
"The master ordered me to punish this wrench-"
"I said let her go!!" I cut his words. I can't bear seeing Alodia like this, she never disrespects me like the others. I love Alodia. The man has a red face after having his unfinished words, but he suddenly smirked.
"As you wish, the master will know about this incident, I believe that your intrusion will be the reason for you to be punished here, so I will be patiently waiting," He said having a sly smile, and released Alodia in her chains. This guy looks like the type to enjoy punishing children. This guy is so evil.
I caught a figure in the corner of the room. A boy was laying on the floor, covered with bruises and blood. My eyes widened as he lift his head and looked at me.
It was him, the knight that saved my life in my past life.
(-- "I want...to die.." I sobbed as I was standing on the edge of the casement, planning to jump. I had enough... I'm so miserable. My family wants to send me away to western territories even though I tried my best not to be thrown away.
One step.. just one step and all pain will disappear. I lift my feet for a step and closed my eyes.
"Hey!" Someone yelled. I got surprised and ruined my balance as I opened my eyes and I was already falling.
"Aaaahhh!" I screamed as I rolled down the roof, before I fell to the ground I reached up to the crooked roof tile and hang on it. No! I'm gonna fall! The roof tile broke and I fell. I tightly closed my eyes waiting for the impact but something unexpected happened.

He was holding me in his arms, looking at me with concerned eyes. I was dumbfounded for I while then the reality hits me. I was flustered by our position, he supported my body with his arms and It looked like I was clinging to him. My face is as red as a tomato. How embarrassing!
"P-put me down!" I jumped off him making him surprised. He observed my appearance and kneel in front of me. He founds out I was a noble lady.
"I apologized to dare touch you without permission in an abrupt situation, please forgive me" I was stunned, He just apologized because of that.
"It's o-okay" I muttered loud for him to hear.
"I was glad, I should introduce myself to you, milady, I'm Nicholai Nouvius, a knight and the head butler's son in this manor"

It's Nicholai! He looks so young, but that's not the case, I need to help him.
"The boy over there, release him" I pointed and the man released him without a problem but the smirk on his face never faded. Nicholai's condition is worst. I ordered Roda to carry him up since he can't walk in that condition.
"Oh, didn't you say you're going to wait?" I asked the Man.
"No need to wait, you're can't lay a step here anymore?" He just looked at me with a perplexed look.

"I just fired you, my father will not be going to let it slide your rudeness to me" I looked at him with threatening eyes. Eyes full of grudge and lividness. Sweat rivulet ran down the man's face.
"Know your place," I said and walk away. I ordered Roda to sent Alodia and Nicholai to a physician to check their wounds. I was laying on my bed, stressing happenings were too much to a five-year-old girl. I sighed, I can't believe I meet Nicholai at this age. He was young but he was still the same. A loud bang on my door surprised me. Who is it this time!? Let me rest! The door slammed open and as expected it was the Duchess. It only had been a minute before it happened and she already get heard of it. This gossip queen has extraordinary ears.
"You, who give you an authority to fire someone in this estate!?" The Duchess screamed at me questioning me.
"Do you think you could do anything you want in this manor?! Your Father will not be going to let all your troubles slide anymore! Listen you are grounded-"
"Your planning to lock me up again..?" I asked with a smile on my face..this is not new to me. She's really pushing me on edge.
"Yes! Because of what you did!" I hate seeing her ugly face.
"I was planning on getting you locked up too!" I yelled at her.
"What? Lock me up? Me!" She seemed annoyed because I talked back at her, but she should be used to it now, It will happen often in the future.
"I'm going to tell my father you cheated on him! You have an affair with Marquis Fidelio!" The expression on her face was worth telling her, I know her secret. In my past life, after my father died she married the marquis. They had been hiding their love story for years. Now you screwed, stupid Duchess.
"Y-you! We done yet!" She walked away stomping her feet. It's funny how her face twitch. She thinks she can control me like the last time, this time is different. Ha~ I threatened many people in this day. I'm tired....my eyes felt heavy as I sleep in the silence.
