Selena protested. She had said it was a bad idea that wouldn't end well. Rule didn't believe that. He knew riling Lucas up would spur a reaction from him and this was his best shot. They stood next to the female bathroom, bantering on the subject. Rule had the upper hand.
"Pretty please. I mean, when have I ever begged you this much for something."
"Summer camp in third grade," she said and Rule knitted his brows in realization. She patted his shoulder and aimed for the exit, but Rule dragged her shoulder back.
"Okay, whenever have I ever begged you this much for something asides Summer camp."
Selena blinked at him, folding her arms and giving him a knowing look. Rule sighed, pinching his eyes in frustration. "Just help me out. Please."
"It's a bad idea."
"A bad idea that wouldn't have consequences," he said matter-of-factly and she groaned in annoyance.
