Her visit was thankfully brief.
Paige came mainly to see if I was doing fine and soon was sent off to sleep by the strict Duke, who at this point seemed troubled by the poor girl's sensible eyes... And nose.
"I shall take my leave then, Your Grace..... Mm..nn... Good night, MY LADY!"
She yelled when turning to meet my eyes and said goodbye while running to the entrance.
The Duke and I watched her leave baffled at the scene and as if thinking the same, our gazes turned to meet each other's and...
