Somewhere in Ionia.
"What a nice day, isn't it?" Akali walked through the forest next to Shen.
"Indeed it is, although its a bit cold, considering its mid day." Shen now looked at the sky, walking besides his former student. He then stopped to listen to the sounds of the forest. "Such peace... Its so quiet considering the fact that this place was a battlefield not long ago.."
Akali rolled her eyes. Like many, Shen had a hard time adjusting to his previous life after the war. Not that it was easy. Lots of things happened in those years, lots of cruel things. It was expected of him to have a hard time...
She simply nodded and continued to walk along the forest.

The cave was dim, covered in ice. Its entry was sealed by a thick wall of ice, so thick that one couldn't see through it. In the center lied a young man.
Chains covered his wrists and waist, preventing him from moving...not that he could. The young man seemed to be asleep, as if he was hibernating, hibernating for the past fourteen years.
Suddenly his eyes darted open. The young man looked around in confusion, then his head darted back, before a cry full of rage and despair parted his lips..
"RUAAAAAGH!!!"
The young man pulled his chains, trying to get himself free. His mind was hazy, in a state of fight or flight.
"AAAAAGH!!! "
The chains squeaked, before the young man's vision got blurry. His left eye began feeling like it was on fire...and soon he saw the room around him differently. The young man grasped the chains. The young man yelled before the chains got ripped from the wall.

Akali now stopped and faced the sky as dark clouds now covered it. Shen also did the same with a puzzled look under his mask.
"You think it will rain?" she now asked.
"Perhaps..." he replied.
The Rogue Assassin then suddenly felt the temperature drop very low in seconds.
"What the... ?" she now looked around in confusion, before noticing her frozen breath.
Shen continued to look at the sky, as now some white particles floated down on the ground.
"Is that..." Akali now asked as she opened her palm. She left her awnser mid way as a small snowflake landed there.
"... Snow." Shen now finished her sentence.
"But...It... It can't be, it hasn't snowed for..."
"For fourteen years." Shen now cut her off as winds began to blow. The snow now began falling at a fast pace, it began to cover the ground.
A large thud echoed through the forest and the snow now turned into a snow storm.
Akali turned her head that way, as she placed on her mask and took her kama out. She felt that something, something dangerous was heading their way.
She turned towards Shen, who stayed put as he scanned the area.
The snow that was falling around them prevented her from seeing anything expect a five meter radius. As the wind howled, the young assassin gripped her knives and kama as she looked frantically around her, bracing herself...then she saw Shen looking at her left while he moved towards her.
"Nooxus..." a voice choed from her left side. Akali faced that way...And finally saw it.
A faint blue light flashed in the distance. Akali froze in place, trying to understand where it came from. The light moved closer, when all of a sudden it got clear...
It wasn't a light, but a luminescent eye. Said eye belonged to a young man. He was tall with a strong athletic build (meso-ectomorphic), with silver hair that currently flowed in the wind. The young man's face had fox markings, and a small chunk around and over his left eye was covered by a layer of ice. His mouth was slightly open, with a set of sharp fangs being exposed.
Despite the sub-zero temperatures, he was topless, with white bandages covering his torso, waist and arms. He had black pants and plated boots on his legs and a pair of ice gauntlets had formed around his hands. Akali could say he looked pretty, despite her brain screaming "DANGER" at that moment.
"AKALI!" Shen's alarmed call woke her up from her observation, returning her back to the scene. Her head darted towards her former master, who at the moment had adopted a defensive pose.
"What is it!?" The young assassin clenched her kama, before she took a step back. The young man's head darted towards her way, causing her to freeze in place before she took another step back and walked towards Shen.
"What is he?" she now asked, keeping her eyes on the dormant young man.
"What hasn't appeared for fourteen years now, the Winter. Or at least the embodiment of the Winter." Shen replied.
"Why did he decide to come now, and towards us?" Akali demanded to know.
"Perhaps we stumbled upon him, tho it's weird...his life force.. This young man.."
"What about him?" Akali now asked with a puzzled expression.
"I cannot describe it, it's best to show you." Shen now placed his hands on her shoulders. Akali's vision blurred, only to regain it a split second later.
She could now see it, the man's lifeform inside his body, which she saw as a black outline. His soul looked like a teal spitting fire and around it, another one crystal blue with gold veins engraved onto it, tangled up around the teal one. The young man's left eye was also seen, being a glowing teal color.
Akali zoned out again. Once she zoned in, she was back at the snow, the young man still idle.
"Do you now see?" Shen asked her...
