Chereads / Sizzy from the Future / Chapter 3 - Turn The Voice Down

Chapter 3 - Turn The Voice Down

When Blackey was seconds from climbing the Purple Hill - the notorious piece of land on the top of Red Valley, he became witness of shocking scene. A gigantic metallic silver spaceship was fast moving upon him and alarms extremely high-volumed signal sounded like magical whispering in woods. This wasn't typical for people to have such experience. That's why Blackey wouldn't know how to react in this situation, except to check if other people out there share the same visual miracle on social media. Luckily, he has a mobile hotshot that is working even on this strange territory. He wouldn't believe in his eyes what they see! Many of the users moved this topic on the "hottest of the day", so this is true! Blackey started to read the reactions following a picture or video with this UFO.

☆ SHOCKING NEWS! UFO is crawling over the Purple Hill.

☆ Tune Facts: Purple Hill is now cursed. Enormous robot upon it!

☆ My whole day was ruined! UFO is coming right after me!

☆ Oh crap! I'd promised my lady a prompt, now here what has separated us. UFO has stolen my prompt queen!

☆ I know how I'll save some money for Nintendo 20: Parents UFO had abduct me, they need 1000 bucks as a redemption.

☆ OMG! UFO! AWESOME!

☆ UFO! Only a few steps away from me.

☆ UFO is real! Here's what happens when you shoot an alien!

- Find me here on this location - wrote Blackey under his post with hashtag, attached link to UFO.

Many of his followers didn't notice that, because they are away from him as a location, but what was interesting is that no one was closer to him, than the UFO itself. Another thing he reconsidered was the position of the rest of the people that tag themselves near by the UFO. They were invisible, probably because of some magnetic fields. If the UFO is a hologram? Where were all these persons, who tagged themselves onto the UFO's image? Some of their comments were posted immediately:

☆ I'm staying here too. But I see none around me neither, said nxx73.

☆ I guess our minds play the same visual tricks. - wrote van_44.

☆ Emotions are mutual. I'm scared. - was dixxy commenting, while the connection has fell apart.

- No drama! No drama! Take a deep breath. Restart the net connection and voala! Everything is back to normal! - Blackey tried to come down.

No?! Well, it should be, because the Hotspot is very important right now.

- Am I the only one here who had lost the connection? It's very strange that I don't see anyone else's complaints about this type of bug.

I've heard so many stories of how people had lost themselves into the Red Valley, I've heard a lot of stories of how people had disappeared on the Purple Hill. One of the reasons why I came here was the adrenaline of being somewhere where so many people had gone forever. Creepy! I didn't believed in this stories, until now. What I'm supposed to do without mobile data? Maybe if I try to escape this Hill, I could change the size of my visibility. The UFO couldn't be this dangerous, after all.

1-2-start!

* Blackey started running up this hill. He can admire this latest record of 10 miles per hour, which is very good for him. * Everytime he turned back his head, the UFO didn't smaller its size. In fact, it continously changed its position, shaping geometric figures on the skies. It's more than obvious that Blackey's position on the hill, won't change the UFO's coordinates.

- At least I know they are not focused on my location, probably they are not that scary after all.

Well, I'm not completely sure, but is it possible to face network blockage, because of me, trying to share info about this on social media? If this is a military educational event? Maybe this is why none wants to make a huge story out of it. Yep, I see people tagging themselves on this location, but where are all those people?

Hard times. People won't be controlled, military got to answer what is next. With no disrespect, where won't be missions. At the final moment, people should be satisfied of the level of their goal achievement. After all, maybe this connection is the key for my surviving, but the military guys want me dead. They see me as a target. Everyone who stepped here had disappeared, now is my turn. At least I did what I wanted to. I took a huge risk by coming up here. I know how hard is to forget about what they've told you, only to start believing in yourself. I'm here, because I believed in me, I believed I'd see no life threads here. I believed I won't tragically ends up here like everyone else's did. In the end I'll die with great feeling in my heart, honor in my soul, satisfaction in my brain. I feel significantly better now. I...

* Mobile Data ON. You are now connected. * This notification was all Blackey's inner voices had prayed for.

- Hurry up! Write Chans' immediately! Can't lose this opportunity no more. - told Blackey in the hundredth he received the ringed bell notification.

- Chan, I'm on the Purple Hill, man! What's up?

- Sup, man? All cool. Hitting the road. Not much for saying yet.

- Dush, I'm on Purple Hill! Is this how you'll react, man?

- Look, man! My brain is hangin' 'round.. Sry!

- Chan! Look at the chat, CHAN! I'm no kid no! PURPLE HILL!

- W8, W@‽ Aren't you bluffin', man? This' insane..

- I'm dead serious. Look, I'm not sure, how long I'll be in here. I'm sharing you my location now. Can you come, man?

- R U mad? No way stepin' this place.

- Man, I can die! Won't die alone. I could buy you the console you wanted to so much. PS 6 Ultiduty 22'. This sound as a deal?

- Duk, you have no money, though.

- Neither do you, but you bought me this and that, right...

- No man.. I told you. I'm a bit busy nowadays. Next time, with pleasure.

- Can't believe what an ass you've become.. I'm sorry for typing you.

- Don't me sorry neither. Later!

After the chat, Blackey has felt absolutely devastated.

- Now what I should do? I'm not sure how long does it take to get out of this place sooner or later. Especially when the Sun goes down. Imagine if I won't make this through. I could possibly be dead in here. It's sad how the things can be that screwed up.

* Blackey typed in Google something like How to survive on Purple Hill? He couldn't find suitable answers. The ultimate aim wasn't fulfilled. All hope is gone now. Blackey had to find a way to make a contact with the creatures who ruled the gigantic metallic silver spaceship. These extreme measures were necessary for survival in there. Blackey knew it, the way none else does. I can't stay here, do absolutely nothing and expect me to leave this lovely place with awful history. Let's make a contact with them.

- Here, Blackey on Purple Hill, can you hear me? - screamed Blackey in a moment of expecting something to happen.

- I, Blackey, am staying on the Purple Hill, which us the most exciting place on this Earth, in my personal modest opinion, and I'm waiting patiently to send me a sign that it'll set me free. Thus, I feel free, I'm not not sure you feel good when I feel free. Is that OK, UFO? Can you, please, confirm with a signal from this vehicle?

Or you have lasers?

They said nothing in reply. He continued to scream, because he thought that none of hearing him, but he was wrong.

The Purple Hill started to open an enormously big and dark tunnel under the Blackey's feet. He was afraid of dark, but he should've gotten to take the chance of getting out of it.

The tunnel had lead to one hidden basement which door was locked. Blackey always got answers for almost anything, so he thought that none of this is actually happening without a reason.

- Ma name is Blackey, so I need a Black key. So many options available, but I'm sure, I should got a Black key for that door. Let's dig into the ground.

* For this mission he got 1 package of 1st Time Survival Kit; 1 pack of 1st Time Subway Survival Kit; 1 pack of Build a New World Kit. *

He chooses to use the second one, but before he got started, he needed to complete some simple tasks successfully.

1st game was Eat the Candle, Feed your Handle. The following rules were illustrated on the wall of the tunnel. The candles were ordered in such manner, they formed an interesting sign. What this could mean, Blackey didn't know yet.

THE MORE CANDLES YOU EAT

THE BRIGHTER YOU SPEAK

- Huh... Playing hot and cold is not that competitive as this freaking trap-game, this conquers must have known. Does this game created by vegans? I didn't knew a  candle is suitable for my stomach. I believe not.

OK, let's begins!

First game: Eat the Candle, Feed your Hangle

Set time: Approximately 30 minutes

Final Aim: The More Candles You Eat, The Brighter You Speak

- I guess that's how these people will start listening to me.

* om - nom - nom - nom - nom *

- Woah! These taste like candy! But this is very strange, though. I've tried experimenting with toffee candies into the microwave, another set of toffees in flames, etc. Most of them had melted, the rest of them burned and became black like petroleum. This candy melts like candle. - very interesting supplement, indeed.

* Oh! I'm full! I can't eat much more than that. * I finished this task successfully, I suppose.

A voice from nowhere said this in the end of the mission:

YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE MISSION. THE FIRST GIFT FOR YOU IS THE ONE YOU ALREADY HAD DESERVED. CONGRATS! Now let's begins with task 2.

Second game: Brain Forced - Make Noise

Set time: Up to 5 minutes.

Final aim: The Bigger the Hit, The Cutter is Split

You see 25 instruments in here. It's now your turn to play them, even if you are not a musician. If you know what instrument has been used for the following hit, you touch that specific instrument and it starts autoplay. If you had chosen the right instrument the instrumental will sound exactly the same as the original.

1-2-3

* ... zara-pa-ca-cara-papa-cara-tc-tc-tara-para-cata-z-z-z-wo-yo-wohoo... *

- I know this song! This is a fragment from the song Channels by the rap band Weebles.

- This one here? - this is... a virtual piano? * Blackey listened to the result, after he picked the wrong instrument. *

- Ugh... it doesn't sound like the original instrumental recording. Well, then... it wasn't my fault. I'm not sure about this answer. Can I take another shot?

The next song was on the way:

* ... diiir - ir - ir - ir - ir - waaa - quid - dauauauau - ir - waaa - quid... *

- Of course I know this! The song is called Bazingtoon by Freg Woonish ft. Sklid QIT. I pick this instrument right here - this makes their beat boxing amazing, I don't know the name of this instrument, is that a problem?

He already had used to take silence for an answer, so he continued playing...

For 5 minutes, Blackey had to guess 25 instruments' soundings in 25 instrumentariums of songs. He completed the mission for good musical culture when it comes to the name of the song or the band/artist. He was perfect with 25/25 score for less than 5 minutes. But when it comes to instruments, he had no idea how the name of these instruments had pronounced or does they used in a proper way in the specific cut of the song. The main part of the 2nd mission has been unsuccessful, so Blackey was disqualified from the games. In this way, he couldn't get the chance to use extra useful gadgets, which had offered him the opportunity to use the 3 of the surviving kits in the underworld at once.

As a result Blackey received his only gift - lighting everything in front of him when he speaks. This way he will be less vulnerable when it comes to surviving through the darkness under this Purple Hill.
