I went out together with the Alpha they had experimented with. He was the one who destroyed the door, then knocked out all the guards who wanted to attack us. I had told him I wanted him to help me save Atticus and also Angel, both in prison, and others who were victims that were not close to me. At first, he did not want to do that as he found me his enemy, but later on, he was convinced to do it.
Before we were heading there, we had met four guards, but the Alpha man managed to defeat them. Later, there were already lots of them who attacked us in both hallways, but I did not expect the man to have an unusual ability that could build a shield for us. For that, we had not hit any bullets from them.
"You were wasting our time. Why would both of us run away and let her remain here instead," said the man. He eyed me. "If this would not work, I would want to kill you instead."
"It will work, trust me!" I shouted and wanted him to move.
