Newly showered, Ricco didn't bother on catching some sleep. His mind were still in chaotic mess to even think of that. He went straight to professor Toc's office and to relay the news about what happened in the east town of the hybrids.
"We left two alive for interrogation. I couldn't do it or I end up killing them too." Ricco said.
The professor sighed at that. "Fine. I'll be questioning them."
Ricco just sat on the chair limply, directing his eyes to the opened windows behind professor Toc's table. He sat there, blankly staring at the swaying of huge oak tree from the outside. The morning sun didn't really gone up and he felt that it won't.
The cloudy weather seemed lie to mourn with him and he can't think straight anymore. "You know what I heard? It might be the duke's order and the king is involved."
