Ricco's moments in the academy had been spent in blissful state. He got the woman he adored. Gained loyalty from his circle of friends who spread the word quickly about how the prince stood up for the rights of the purebloods to choose as they desire.
However, it was only fleeting moment after he was bludgeoned with two things. Annah was traveling back to Korea with Jason for some medical emergency of that phony loser. He fought with her and forbade her to go. But she insisted in respect to Jason's parent's wish to accompany their son. She explained herself that it was merely respect to the family. But Ricco can't understand such sentiments at all especially if Annah was involve. He trusted her but he can't trust Jason not to take her away from him again.
