A day later after the incident, it was as if nothing happened between Annah and Celeste. Or at least for Annah's perspective.
"This one's delicious. I like it." Annah mumbled over breakfast quite cheerfully as Maine watched her contemplation.
"Is it?" Maine just asked conversationally, chewing on her bacon and eggs. She wondered what kind of voodoo did Ricco did to her friend to be acting like the world was just nothing but cupcakes and rainbows.
"Look at these eggs, it's so perfectly cooked and the bacon isn't burned to the edge.
Maine just stared at her friend without a word.
Yep. Ricco did something more than erase some parts of her memories. Like she had reverted back to the Annah who had no other problem but to study hard to get apprenticeship on professor Toc's class.
"Actually you're overreacting. This is just our usual ration." Maine pointed out.
Annah furrowed at that. "I don't think it is."
