Annah didn't even bother on knocking on the door as she readily stirred it open and admitted herself in Toc's office.
Once again, an argument between Ricco and professor Toc was forestalled as they snapped their heads toward her direction.
She gulped down her nervousness when Ricco literally glared at her. Maybe he was pissed since his girlfriend was in the great hall along with the other prefects, being questioned for their offenses.
"Nice going, Park." Ricco hissed coldly.
How about that? Annah thought. It had been a while since he addressed her in the same distaste tone of his voice. Usually, he wouldn't even bother on speaking to her and even looked in her direction as if she had awful boils all over her body.
"If you're mad about your girlfriend, why don't you join her in the great hall, Kwon?" Annah fought back. "After all, the duke might need someone to defend his adorable little witch."
