"Huh?" Annah searched whoever was talking to her in a deep and calm voice.
"I can give you all of these..." the voice continued.
"No..." Annah realized that it must be the portal talking to her. Then, suddenly, inside her mind, she was showed images that didn't belonged as memories at all. Her mom doing not just household work but also working hustles to earn money for her allowance. Her dad being ridiculed at work and being looked down by his fellow workers for not having his own car to go to work.
It was true that her dad still commutes everyday towards his work.
