"My Queen," Vivi bowed a little.
"I hope you are enjoying this suite"? She smirked. "Make yourself home. This is your home from now on after all." She snickered.
"I would," Vivi nodded. "Who else would have the glory to call the cursed room as their own room after all." Vivi smirked.
The smirk on Queen's face faltered a moment as Guinevere realised that Vivian had quite a keen observation. "I see you have explored quite well."
"I have been making myself home." Vivian declared. "I see you have dressed up." She commented. "You look stunning."
"Now, now, don't get too excited. For now I am like a museum piece. No touch, only display". Guinevere smirked.
"I should hope so." Viviam mumbled. A frown on the Queen's face prompted her to continue. "You're the Queen. Just because I became your bride today doesn't mean I get to do whatever I want".
"Interesting." The Queen mused. "You seem to be quite good at passing flirtatious comments. Makes me wonder".
"If you question my words, let me prove my feelings." Vivian urged.
"Well, we will get to it," the Queen smirked. "But for now, I need to know something about you".
"Feel free to ask me," Vivian nodded.
"Aren't you eager? '' The Queen smirked. Hidden under her gown, the Queen produced a flask containing a deep reddish fluid. "This is the blood of the purest human being. In this age they are rarely found. Here, have it. Consider it a wedding gift from your wife". She handed it to Vivian. Vivian stared at the flask, and was about to put it down but a hand approaching Vivian's stopped it. "If you let it stay for long, it'll clot. I harvested it fresh. You must have it now".
"Very well" she nodded and gulped the entire thing in one go. A soft moan escaped Vivian's throat, signifying how much she had enjoyed it.
As Vivian returned the flask, she couldn't help but notice a flicker of smirk on Guinevere's eyes. "So, tell me. Where are you from?"
"I am from the mid-west originally. But I travel a lot to blend in with the crowd." Vivian declared.
"And how old were you when you turned into a Vampire"? The Queen asked curtly.
"I was roughly around twenty nine." Vivian mumbled.
"Decades ago?" Guinevere was taken aback. Back in her days she was forced to to marry at the young age of fourteen, and she had managed to evade every single proposal until she turned twenty. At twenty she chose to become a Vampire.
"Why is that surprising? Do I look younger?" Flirtatiously, Vivian asked.
"Oh don't be ridiculous." Guinevere shrugged. "You definitely seem older than me. I'm surprised you managed to remain an unmarried woman till that long. That's all." Guinevere shrugged.
"I wasn't." Vivian declared. Guinevere frowned to which Vivian replied. "I was forced to marry a man of status." With a disgusted grunt Vivian declared. "I loathe men. They are dirty and unnecessarily gloating all the time."
"As someone with power, I can certainly see the charm to gloat." Guinevere snickered. "And I suppose you were always interested in having relationships with woman."
"Not until I saw you" Vivian declared. "It was a sunny day when you were passing by the southern street wearing a golden laced satin Gown. I saw you, an apex predator, take mercy at a deer and let it go half drained."
Guinevere ended up laughing. "You think I had mercy on that Deer? Oh you foolish woman," After her laughing subsided a little bit she added. "That deer was diseased. I had to give up mid way or else I would have thrown up." Now it was Guinevere's turn to be disgusted. "How disappointing. You thought I was capable of mercy. To think that it was the reason you fell for me." Guinevere mused.
"It might have been one of the reason, but that's not all. The more I got to know about you the more I fell in love with you". Vivian said.
"Oh my little girl," Guinevere smirked. "You might just regret what you said." She added, knowing full enough that whatever Vivian said was the truth. After all, with that earlier fresh blood she did mix a bit of truth serum that works on Vampires.
Guinevere approached Vivian and traced her neck from the back as she whispered. "I wonder what you taste like." She whispered and was about to dig into the pale flesh with her razor sharp teeth when Vivian withdrew. "I am afraid I can't let you do that". Vivian declared.
"And why not?" Guinevere asked, wondering what she could have possibly have to hide.
"You see, I have many quirks, and one of them is my lack of control when someone bites me in the neck." Vivian revealed. "I'm afraid I won't be able to keep my hands off you for the night".
"Is that so?" Guinevere asked, unconvinced.
"I am afraid, yes." Vivian nodded.
"Well, I am exhausted for the night. I will see you tomorrow." And with that the Queen exited. She didn't care much as she had gathered the most crucial piece of information anyways.
As soon as Queen was out of sight, Vivian smirked and whispered. "Truth serum, as if I am an idiot to fall for that." Knowing well enough that not a word she uttered was true, Vivian beamed with Pride.
