Suddenly, Aurora seemed to recall something. Her hands stopped moving, and she looked up abruptly at Ellie.
Ellie looked back at her and said, "Ma'am..."
"Ellie, why are you here? You were with Kai when he left for Lema City, right? So, you should be returning together...Then..."
Ellie responded, "Ma'am, I wasn't on the same flight as CEO Piers. He rushed to the airport directly from the office after finishing his work."
Aurora muttered, "....what?"
"He probably wanted to return to Lema City as soon as possible to see you and thus hurriedly caught the flight. I stayed back to pack up his belongings in the hotel, and that's why I took a later flight. I just... I just..."
Ellie couldn't continue.
