Kai Piers glanced at her, strode directly to the main seat, sat down, and said casually, "Let's start the meeting."
Aurora Dupont, who had something to say, swallowed her words at his announcement.
Thankfully... she was sitting close to him.
Aurora asked quietly, "Why are you here... Shouldn't John Fame have been the one to come?"
"He and Lissy Lock took a trip overseas. Have you forgotten?"
It finally dawned on Aurora. How could she have forgotten such a thing?
John Fame is on vacation, leaving everything to Kai Piers, even Zack Shaw.
She went silent, looking at the documents in her hands.
Unlike her, Kai Piers didn't glance at his documents, his attention was fixed on her.
As for the other people in the conference room... um, they were well aware.
And so, the meeting started this way.
Except, Kai Piers' attention, from start to finish, was nowhere near the documents in front of him. He was utterly fixated on Aurora, his eyes not blinking.
