Kai Piers was stunned.
"I saw you wanted to take care of me, to do something for me, so I just went along with it, after all..." Isaac said, "It's like when I was little, and you never helped me bathe."
In that moment, Kai Piers felt that his son was really understanding.
He didn't say anything more.
When they returned to the master bedroom, Aurora Dupont, in her pajamas, stood by the bed. Hearing footsteps, she turned around and looked at him: "Has Isaac gone to bed?"
"Yes."
"Then we should sleep too, it's been... quite a day."
Kai Piers walked over to her and looked at her.
Only then did Aurora slap her forehead, as if recalling something: "Right... I still have to apply medicine to your wound."
"It's okay."
"How can it not matter..." Aurora turned to look at him, "This wound is on your face, it has to heal quickly. Otherwise, what will the people at the company think of you?"
"I don't care what they think."
