The two men were evenly matched, neither yielding to the other. In the middle of the confrontation, Declan Darcy managed to say, "Kai Piers, you're pretty good."
Kai Piers looked at him, "You're not bad either."
Declan Darcy laughed lightly, full of sarcasm.
This Kai Piers was impressive, both externally and internally.
But how did he get entangled with such a simple question?
Finally, seizing an opportunity, Declan's hand fastened onto Kai's shoulder. He made a quick advance and promptly pinned Kai against the wall.
Kai Piers's back harshly collided with the wall as he looked at Declan Darcy.
Declan Darcy confronted him, "Kai Piers, I really don't understand what you're thinking."
"Out with it!"
Declan Darcy asked, "Where was the DNA test done?"
"At XX hospital."
"Who's the physician in charge?"
"Doctor Hudson."
"Very good," Declan said, "Noted."
