Aurora Dupont stood up from the sofa. She didn't know what else to say, so she decided to leave due to the awkwardness.
As she stood up, she saw the two kids and then remembered she had told them to wash their hands to eat fruit. However, she forgot about them while talking to Kai Piers.
Mila Dupont said, "Brother, Mommy sees us."
"Let's go over, they seem to have finished their conversation."
Aurora couldn't help but say to Kai Piers, "The kids are coming over. Are you intending to carry on with your stern face?"
Upon hearing Aurora's words, Kai furrowed his eyebrows, but his expression softened.
Aurora was not good with words and didn't know what else to say.
Isaac Dupont and Mila leisurely walked over. Aurora patted their heads, "Why didn't you come over sooner?"
Mila turned her head to look at her big brother.
Isaac calmly said, "Mila and I were playing over there. The fish tank got two new members today. Butler said they were newly bought goldfish."
