Aurora Dupont softly comforted, "It's okay, Mila."
Kai Piers suddenly let go of Aurora's hand and walked away alone.
Aurora watched his receding figure, a touch of desolation flashing in her eyes.
Would their trust in each other be shattered once again because of this DNA test report?
Upon returning to the Dupont family home, Kai still remained silent, just like when he found out some time ago that Mila wasn't his biological child.
Kai handed Mila over to a servant, uttering "take good care of her", before pulling Aurora upstairs.
Aurora understood his feelings, and swallowed her objections without argument.
Back in their room, before Kai could speak, Aurora preemptively asked, "Don't you trust me?"
