Upon hearing what Kai Piers had to say, Aurora Dupont finally realized: "Yes..., this... this is the Dupont Family house, Mila, you drew our home?"
"Yes, this is our home. Dad lives here, I live here, mommy also lives here... Our whole family lives here!"
When Aurora heard Mila say this, she immediately thought of Isaac.
She wanted to bring Isaac back home, regardless of anything. She genuinely couldn't bear to be parted from Isaac any longer.
Leaving a small child alone in a foreign country was fundamentally the wrong thing to do.
"Yes, all of us, our family, we live here." Kai Piers reached over and stroked Mila's face, "Now, go wash your hands. We're preparing to eat dinner."
Mila carefully placed her drawing on the table and went to wash her hands.
After dinner, Kai Piers received a call and hurriedly retreated into his study, probably to handle some sort of situation.
Aurora brought Mila into their bedroom to take a bath.
