Noticing Aurora's stunned look, Kai Piers smiled and kissed her forehead, "Wait here for me, I'll go to the closet to get you some clothes, change into something comfortable."
Aurora was dumbfounded on the spot.
She stood still, watching Kai walk into the closet, swiftly picked out a comfortable home outfit for her, and handed it to her. Then he absentmindedly caressed her head without uttering a word and headed out the door.
She was left alone, holding the clothes in her hand, in a daze.
Aurora wondered about Kai's journey for the past few years, what he had gone through, and how he had made it through?
His manners and style had matured over the years, only showing his childish side occasionally, like when he wanted to kiss her.
He had truly changed. His attention to detail, his consideration for her, she felt... she could hardly do without.
