"You're so punctual," said Lilian Meurer as she sat down, "I thought I'd have to wait."
"I wouldn't make you wait," replied Kai Piers.
Hearing this, Lilian sighed, "Are we going out for dinner again?"
"Yes," Kai nodded, "It's a problem?"
"Having dinner with Mr. Piers several days in a row is such an honor. How could I object?"
"What would you like for dinner tonight?"
Lilian glanced at him, then leaned in closer, "You're asking for my opinion, correct?"
"Of course."
"So if I suggest something, we'll have that?"
"Yes."
With a smile, Lilian suggested, "I want to cook."
Kai was momentarily stunned.
Cooking?
Lilian looked at him, inched closer, "I can prepare some dishes. Can we... cook together?" She asked.
Kai remained silent as he looked at her.
Seeing his silence, Lilian retreats, returning to her usual position and lowers her head.
When she came near, the faint scent of her perfume was strong, but as she moved away, the scent drifted away again.
