Lissy Lock nodded in agreement.
Grandma Winslow went on to say, "I have heard about his disputes and animosity with the two young ladies of the Dupont family in Lema City. I don't know whether it's true or not, but I listen to it as if it's a story."
Lissy didn't know what to say. It wasn't appropriate for her to comment too much on Kai Piers' affairs.
Thinking for a moment, she decided to change the subject: "Grandma, let's go first. I'll take you to my office for a while. I wonder how much longer Oliver Winslow and Ava will be cooing over each other..."
Kai Piers was standing at a street corner, waiting for the traffic light to change.
He casually checked the time, it was still early.
Just when the green light was about to come on in a dozen seconds or so, Kai Piers suddenly felt someone standing behind him.
Furthermore, that person patted him softly: "Hello..."
When Kai turned around, he saw a girl who had just withdrawn her hand from patting his shoulder.
