"Hearing footsteps, Aurora Dupont quickly turned her head around, looking at him: "Are you done?"
"Mhm."
Aurora glanced at the damp hair he had yet to dry fully, speaking with a hint of reproach: "Why don't you dry your hair? If you sleep like this, it's easy to get a headache."
"Okay, I'll dry it in the bedroom."
But Kai Piers was unable to confess that throughout his shower, his heart was anything but calm.
He always felt Aurora would leave him silently while he was in the shower.
When he came out, there would be no trace of her.
But thankfully, thankfully, she was still here and... still concerned about him.
Aurora gave him a slightly reproachful look, "There's a hairdryer in the bedroom? Go dry your hair now. Mine is already almost dry."
"Mhm, okay."
Kai Piers agreed verbally, but his feet hadn't moved an inch.
Aurora looked at him with a bit of confusion, "Why are you still not going?"
"I...will in a bit."
