Riley Dupont, staring at the endless sea of tombstones with no one around, felt her fear grow. She hurried to catch up, "Aurora Dupont, I apologise to you. I'm sorry."
Aurora ignored her.
"Aurora Dupont, I apologized. Didn't you hear me?"
Aurora kept walking, "Apologize? For what? Riley Dupont, what tricks are you trying to play now?"
"Kai Piers asked me to apologize to you."
Aurora stopped in her tracks, "He did?"
"Take it or leave it. At least I've apologized. Aurora, don't be ungrateful."
"Kai Piers asked you to apologize?" Aurora laughed suddenly, "So you do listen to him."
Riley didn't want to waste her breath on a pointless conversation, so she cut right to the chase, "Aurora, come with me. I'll take you to Kai."
"Why should I go with you?"
"So you're bent on opposing me, is that it?"
Aurora continued down the hill without turning back, "I don't want to see you or Kai Piers."
