Lissy Lock knew she needed to morph herself into a persona that matched John Fame's identity. Significant though it was to others, they could dismiss it unreservedly, but she couldn't. She couldn't simply live in her own world without giving a hoot about what other people thought.
So ... might as well give it a go.
Following the incident with Max Coleman, this was the only thing she had to do.
Once she settled on this idea, Lissy sprang up from the bed, casually tied her hair up, and headed downstairs.
Seeing her in a rush, the butler thought she wanted to go out, "Madam, should I have the driver prepare the car?"
"Ah … no need, I'm not going out." Lissy said, "Butler, what time does John usually come home?"
"Madam, Mr. Fame usually arrives home around five-thirty."
Since their reunion, John has been punctual in returning home every day, rarely delayed.
