Lissy Lock looked at him, ignorantly biting her lip, "What are you trying to say?"
Josiah Baker walked over to her, smiling, "I don't want to say anything in particular, just wanted to tell you something."
John Fame furrowed his brows.
He originally wanted to delay the conversation, but it appeared that, although Josiah's final target was him, he didn't seem in a rush to deal with him. Instead, he seemed more interested in Lissy.
Remembering what John had told her about not listening, Lissy shook her head, "I don't want to hear whatever you have to say."
"Oh, I believe you will be begging me to tell you in a moment," Josiah said, deliberately keeping her in suspense, "Are you sure you don't want to know?"
Lissy shook her head resolutely, "No, I don't."
Josiah sighed, "It seems that John Fame has brainwashed you quite successfully! Mrs. Fame, you are so carefree, you've forgotten your own surname!"
