"Aren't I speaking with you right now?"
John Fame's temples throbbed, "Where are you?"
Lissy Lock answered truthfully: "At the hospital entrance."
"I'm coming right now." John Fame said, "Wait for me there."
Saying this, he was about to hang up and head downstairs.
"No need," Lissy said, "John Fame, why should we see each other?"
John Fame's movements halted suddenly, as if he understood something: "So... that's why you left without a word?"
"I should leave. You've recovered, I don't need to stay... If Zack Shaw hadn't come looking for me, I wouldn't be here. Actually, John Fame, why should I be the one to take care of you? I really am asking for trouble..."
But in the end, she softened and decided to come.
The more she spoke, the softer her voice became.
"You don't want to see me, then don't." John Fame's voice was icy, brimming with severity, "Give the phone to someone beside you."
At the hospital entrance, Lissy handed the phone to a person nearby.
