He couldn't help but laugh at her actions, nodding his head, "As long as you understand."
"But in the end, John Fame's original intention towards you and the Smith Group is still because you pursued Lissy Lock!" Ava Gibson pointed out unflinchingly, "If it weren't for this initial intention, the following series of events would never have happened."
A smile abruptly froze on Walter Smith's face.
Ava Gibson continued, "Walter, it's not that I dislike Lissy, I just... I'm curious, why exactly do you like her so much?"
After asking, she nervously looked at him.
She admired Lissy, who was so persistently loved by Walter.
"I just like her," he answered, speaking as casually as if they were talking about the weather. "There's no reason why. A man should always strive for the things, or people, he likes. If he gives up too easily, that's just too uninteresting."
