John Fame didn't say anything more. Instead, he took off his own coat and placed it over her, meticulously wrapping it around her.
"There's nothing for you here," John Fame pulled back his hand, "Go inside, it's cold out here, and your fever has not subsided."
"I'm fine."
John Fame's tone left no room for argument, "Behave, and go in. What if your cold becomes worse?"
Lissy Lock replied, "Uncle Fame is here. As his daughter-in-law, it is only proper that I come out and greet him. Isn't that right, John Fame?"
Hearing this, he furrowed his brows and looked down at her.
He didn't understand what Lissy Lock was up to, but he knew that she must have a reason for hurrying out so suddenly.
