Skye Turner quickly dialed Nova York's number, but it was out of service.
She exchanged a glance with Caspian Darcy, both of them noticeably flustered.
Shortly, her phone vibrated, indicating an incoming text message.
Skye hurriedly opened it.
"Liam and I have been discovered, John Fame knows why Liam returned to Lema City, he's already on guard. You and I can't be in contact anymore, I'll reach out if there is a need, otherwise if it's traced back to you, it's all over for you and John. Remember, spare no effort to undermine Lissy Lock's position in John's heart. Also, you and I have nothing to do with each other, we don't even know each other, Nova."
After reading the message, Skye promptly deleted it.
Originally, she was reluctant to get involved with Nova and Liam, but her desire to crush Lissy blindsided her with jealousy, causing her to join forces with them.
