John Fame listened nonchalantly, walked over, carefully adjusted the pillow under Lissy Lock, and remained silent.
The nurse looked around at the mess and said, "Young lady, stop throwing a tantrum. Your husband seems quite decent. He personally carried you to the emergency room and has never left your side since you arrived at the hospital. He's been taking care of you meticulously. Don't take your blessings for granted."
Lissy could vent her anger on John by throwing things, but she couldn't do the same with strangers.
She gave an awkward smile and said, "Don't worry about it, don't worry about it, we were just joking around!".
Nurse shook her head, "That's not how you play a joke, then who's going to clean up this mess in the room?"
John straightened up and said calmly, "I will clean it up."
"Tsk tsk tsk, you young people!" The nurse shook her head as she walked out, "A wife is not to be spoiled like this, look what she has become..."
Lissy's face turned red instantly.
