Lissy Lock stared down at his warm palm covering the back of her hand, a gesture that felt extraordinarily intimate.
She didn't pull her hand back, nor did she show any reaction. Instead, she kept looking at it, for a very long time.
A warmth spread through Walter Smith's heart.
The fact that she didn't pull her hand away was something worth cheering for him.
"Perhaps we shouldn't have recognized each other at the Fame Group meeting. After graduation, we should have just gone our separate ways. What's the point of recognizing each other now?" Lissy Lock remained silent for a long while before speaking.
