"So, are you heading over now?"
The elevator doors opened, and John Fame made his way out with a long stride: "I'll be there shortly."
"Good, I'll be waiting for you." Skye Turner's gentle voice echoed, "I'm very happy today."
John Fame curved his lips and spoke softly: "Hmm."
Putting down her phone, Skye Turner wore a full-faced smile.
Half an hour later, John Fame arrived wearing a shirt and trousers, with a coat draped over his arm, looking somewhat disheveled.
Seeing him, Skye Turner rose to her feet and helped him hang up his coat. Then she turned around, threw her arms around his waist, buried herself into his chest, and looking up at him, giggled: "You're here."
"Ran into some traffic." John Fame embraced her waist while planting a soft kiss on her forehead, "Sorry to keep you waiting."
"It doesn't matter, I can wait as long as it takes, as long as you're on your way."
