"Everyone's left, what are you still looking at?"
John Fame took off his sunglasses, glanced at her, and took a sip of water.
Lissy Lock turned around and handed over the file in her hands without further ado, "Mr. Fame, the documents you wanted."
"Just leave it there."
Without a word, Lissy placed the file on a side table.
Slowly, John Fame took a seat and slightly raised his eyebrow: "Not happy?"
"No demand," replied Lissy, "there's nothing to be unhappy about. I was just thinking, Ava Gibson is really interesting."
"Shouldn't you be feeling hurt and upset?" John Fame looked at her indifferently, "Now that Ava Gibson is by Walter Smith's side, it won't be so easy for you to get close to him."
Lissy Lock inwardly rolled her eyes and retorted, "Why would I want to get close to Walter Smith?"
John Fame grunted: "That's better, just give up on him."
