Lissy Lock opened her mouth, intending to ask something else, but Aurora Dupont hastily said, "Alright, stop asking now. You should really take some time to think about yourself. What's the use of knowing all this? It all comes down to what happened between her and John Fame. The more you know, the more upset you might be."
"Okay, I won't ask anymore." Lissy Lock nodded, "Will you sit with me for a while?"
"No problem, let's have a nice chat."
The two girls sat side by side on the sofa, fingers tightly interlocked, and began to talk in hushed tones. Outside, the sky had turned completely dark.
Meanwhile, John Fame had appeared at Kai Piers's private apartment.
Kai Piers lazily opened the door for him: "Mr. Fame, what brings you here at this hour?"
"I'm looking for a quiet place."
John Fame said, glancing at the ground as he walked past Kai Piers into the apartment.
Kai Piers closed the door and followed him, arms crossed, "What kind of peace are you seeking in my place?"
