"Oh, there was a call from CEO Dupont. She said to stop by her office when you get a chance. The way you are now..."
Lissy Lock asked, "CEO Dupont wants to see me?"
"Yes."
Lissy stared at her computer screen for quite a while before replying, "I understand."
But until the end of the workday, Lissy never left her office.
She didn't go to see Aurora Dupont but clocked out, going home early.
She walked along with the bustling crowd, waited for the red light, crossed the road, walked across the footbridge, treaded along the busiest and most prosperous streets of Lema City, before entering the wealthy residential area.
Lissy frequented this place, her average attire did not attract attention.
As usual, the security guard let her in. Lissy walked slowly with her hands hanging at her sides and a bag on her back.
A Ferrari was parked not far in front of her. It looked cool and impressive. Lissy glanced at it casually, but didn't mind.
Here, you could see all kinds of luxury cars.
