Declan Darcy raised an eyebrow, "Alright, being angry now won't change anything, let's continue eating. By the way... I don't mind, you can feed me another bite."
Emma scoffed, then spitefully scooped up a large chunk of dessert and fed it to him by hand.
She was almost clinging to Declan Darcy without realizing it herself.
Instead, Declan Darcy was really enjoying the feeling of her throwing herself into his arms, and she was feeding him personally.
Amid the noisy quarrel, Emma felt that she was no match for him and consciously shifted aside.
"Uncle."
"Hmm?"
"Don't you have to work?" Emma looked at him, "Just sitting around here doing nothing."
"I do have to work."
"Then why are you still sitting here?"
"It can wait until tomorrow," Declan Darcy said, "you're here, of course I should keep you company."
Emma felt somewhat warmed by this but still sensibly said, "I can wait here for you alone, you should get back to work quickly. Then we can go home together."
