Declan Darcy replied, "As he treats me, so shall...I treat him."
"Wait, are you also planning to send someone after him?"
"I won't kill him," Darcy said, a small smile curling at the corners of his mouth. "But to give him a good scare, to drive him into a corner...that might be more interesting."
Emma Tremont couldn't help but give a surprised "yip".
"What's wrong?"
"Uncle, you're quite the sadist."
Darcy raised an eyebrow.
Quickly, Emma added, "But dealing with people like Silas Tremont, should be done this way! I support you!"
Her heavy breathing while speaking had Darcy repeatedly glancing over at her.
It suddenly reminded him of something.
