Upon hearing his tone, Emma Tremont had already formed a conditioned reflex and quickly said, "I don't regret ..."
But once she said it, she regretted it.
How could she not regret it? She was so regretful it was making her sick.
Declan Darcy gave a slight chuckle, "Actually, we might as well settle the score."
"What?"
"You won't be at a loss by being my girlfriend. I will personally pull Silas Tremont down from his position and support your father's rise. With me backing him, your father will have an advantage in the business world, right?"
Emma nodded in confusion.
"Will you lose anything?" Declan continued, "I won't really be with you, so you can rest assured about that."
"Why?" Emma asked, "I am so cute, what's wrong with you liking me a bit?"
Declan's gaze shifted down, landing on her chest: "As I mentioned, I don't want an A cup..."
Emma immediately gagged him with her hand.
This was the first time in her life that a man had repeatedly mentioned her small chest!
