So, Aurora Dupont could only glare at Kai Piers, release the door handle, and turn away again.
Though she felt terribly wronged in this matter, now it seemed she had to consider Kai Piers's feelings as well.

Suddenly, her waist tightened. Kai Piers hugged her from behind.
Before she even had the chance to look at him, he had already pressed her against the wall.
Her back hit the wall, but it didn't hurt as one might expect because his hand was already cushioning her back in anticipation.
Behind her was the wall, in front of her, his burning figure.
Kai Piers leaned down, looking like he was about to kiss her lips. Suddenly, Aurora burst into laughter, her eyes curving into crescents. He froze.
Aurora held her hand to his lips and continued to giggle.
Kai Piers found her laughter so radiant and beautiful that he unwittingly smiled along.
"What are you laughing at?" he asked.
