"Perhaps it will get better with time," Aurora Dupont thought, and didn't pay it much mind.
"At the Dupont Mansion." Kai Piers said, "Their fate, I will have you decide."
Aurora bowed her head, not uttering a word.
The Dupont Mansion still stood there, unchanging, yet... no matter how she looked at it, it seemed extraordinarily desolate.
The servants were still those same servants, not one more, not one less.
Only... the security staff had all been replaced.
They must all be people sent by Kai Piers.
Kai Piers, embracing Aurora, walked into the Dupont Mansion. The living room remained the same as before.
Though the funeral hall wasn't far from the Dupont Mansion, Aurora hadn't been back to the mansion to stay for a whole month.
She was afraid that she would be reminded of the past.
Kai Piers instructed, "Bring Riley Dupont and Harper Wood here."
"Yes, Mr. Piers."
