Skye Turner hooked her fingers around his neck: "Oh you, why are your wits failing you at such a time? I know my own home better than anyone. After I get to the Turners', I'll slip out from the back door. After I take care of things, I'll return to the Turners' and then back to the villa in Lema City."
Caspian paused and then nodded: "That is indeed a good plan."
"Right? I can't shake off the bodyguard or driver, but I can persuade my parents. They will surely help me and take my side."
Upon hearing her say this, Caspian feels a dull ache in his heart.
If in this check-up, Skye is pregnant, then her need for him... wouldn't be as great.
If she isn't pregnant, it would be a relief. He could continue being with her for a while longer.
