Every time Lissy Lock and I met, she had a lot to say.
Aurora Dupont sat side by side with Lissy on the sofa, chatting away. Fortunately, Aurora had brought some tasty treats, so they nibbled as they talked, completely forgetting about John Fame.
John didn't utter a word, quiet as if he didn't exist, only occasionally coughing, blending into Lissy's incessant chatter.
He played with his phone for a while, then curiously threw it aside and began to focus on the stock market. From time to time, he glanced at the two girls, silently calculating the time.
Just as predicted, twenty minutes later, there was another knock at the hospital room door.
A hint of a smile played on John's lips.
Lissy, with a puzzled look, got up to answer the door: "Who could it be? Assistant Shaw? But he just left not long ago..."
John didn't respond.
Aurora was eating a banana, seemingly unconcerned.
