Riley Dupont insistently spoke up first, "Dad...the thing is, Aurora..."
"Dad!" Aurora Dupont's voice became increasingly louder, covering Riley's, "Riley insisted on removing my blanket, claiming that I'm hiding something. I told her that I wasn't wearing pants, and asked her to wait, but she wouldn't listen."
"That's not the case..." Riley Dupont glared at her fiercely, "Dad..."
Father Dupont waved his hand, "Alright. Riley, this is still Aurora's room after all. You should have her permission before entering."
Aurora Dupont continually nodded her head.
"Riley, go out." Father Dupont said, "Regardless of what your quarrel is about, remember that peace is the most important when living together."
Riley Dupont was somewhat unwilling to comply, "Dad, I really wasn't making stuff up."
"Riley, come, walk with me." Father Dupont beckoned.
Having had a discussion with him to this extent, if Riley Dupont continued to persist, she would seem unreasonable and petulant.
