A figure suddenly appeared around the corner, and Lissy Lock quickly caught it in the corner of her eye. She looked up and instantly froze.
John Fame emerged from around the corner, hanging up his phone and casually placing it in his coat pocket, his brow relaxed. As he performed these actions, his eyes were firmly on her.
Lissy stood still, wanting to leave, but she couldn't lift her feet, as if they were leaden.
It had been over a month since she last saw him.
John Fame... still the same John Fame in her memories. A month didn't seem to change him much, he was still tall and upright, his features finely-sculpted, his side profile rugged and chiseled.
The man approaching her was... the man she had once deeply loved.
She loved him so deeply it was etched in her bones, but it left her heart as grey as ashes.
John Fame strode over to her. His coat billowed slightly in the air as he walked quickly, following his pace.
He made his way over and stood in front of her.
