"You should layer up more, it's deep autumn now, the temperatures drop significantly."
Lissy Lock continued looking out the dark window, ignoring him.
Ordinarily, if John Fame didn't come to her room, not just her room but the entire villa would be quiet.
Except in the rain.
The sound of the rain, to her, is something she cherishes when it happens.
At least it doesn't feel as quiet as if she were the only person in the world anymore.
Seeing her standing still, John Fame frowned slightly, and reached out his hands from behind her. He enveloped her in his arms, closed the window and drew the curtains.
The pitter-patter of the rain was blocked outside immediately, and the sound was faint enough to be ignored.
Lissy Lock came back to herself then, turned around, and glanced at John Fame. With a bit of effort, she freed herself from him.
The city today was gossiping about her.
All about the mysterious Mrs. Fame finally appearing.
