Lissy's expression dimmed instantly.

"Aurora, I want to leave, no one wants to leave here more than I do. But..." Lissy's voice died off, "I can't. My freedom, my future, I have never been in control of it."
"John Fame won't let you leave?" Aurora was both shocked and angry, "He doesn't even believe you anymore, he believes in that woman Skye Turner. He's afraid something might happen to his precious treasure, and he's holding on to you, unwilling to divorce?"
