As usual, Aurora Dupont headed straight upstairs to her room after returning home from work.
Unexpectedly, Riley Dupont had arrived home before her today.
Riley happened to be standing at the top of the staircase on the second floor, and Aurora ran straight into her.
"Oh, isn't this Aurora? Back from work?"
As Riley spoke, she crossed her arms and slowly descended the staircase in a condescending manner, finally standing in front of Aurora and stopping.
"I'm back," Aurora responded without sparing her a glance. She intended to bypass Riley to go upstairs, hoping to avoid any family drama.
However, Riley was not so willing to let her go. Extending her arm, she stopped Aurora, "What's the rush? It's been several days since we've had a one-on-one as sisters. Today we finally have the chance. So it's a good time to... settle our accounts."
